Since opening in 2001, The Bay Road Café has become a favourite haunt for locals and visitors alike. The early 20th century Bayside bungalow has been transformed into a charming Nursery Cafe, whilst retaining the features of the original building, including the original brick open fireplace and other delightful character architectural features.
The Bay Road Café is nestled amongst the beautiful garden setting of Bay Road Nursery. The Bay Road Cafe offers an outstanding selection of delicious food and is the perfect place to meet with friends to enjoy breakfast, lunch, or morning/afternoon tea, along with a glass of wine or bubbles.
There are plenty of nooks to nestle into indoors, as well as outside amongst the beautiful blooms in the garden. You may also enjoy the front deck where you can capture the warmth of the afternoon sunshine, whilst enjoying one of our famous decadent Devonshire teas.
In late 2016 Janine Smith became the proud owner of The Bay Road Café and has continued to build upon the delightful experience that has made the café so popular today. With friendly staff and service second to none The Bay Road Café is the perfect day out.
